FAQs
What type of counseling do you offer?
I offer individual therapy for adults, along with art therapy and group experiences, designed for high-achieving individuals navigating anxiety, perfectionism, and self-doubt.
My work focuses on helping you step out of constant overthinking, quiet your inner critic, and feel more grounded and confident in your daily life.
If you’re not sure whether this is exactly what you need, you don’t have to have it all figured out. I’m happy to talk through what’s going on and help you determine if this feels like the right fit.
How much do sessions cost?
Sessions are 50 minutes and $200 per session, with payment due at the time of service.
If you’ve been feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or caught in patterns of overthinking or perfectionism, therapy can be a powerful step toward real change. Many clients begin to notice shifts in how they think, feel, and respond within the first few sessions.
You may also be eligible for partial reimbursement through your out-of-network benefits.
If you’re ready to get started, I invite you to reach out or schedule a consultation to see if we’re a good fit.
What do we talk about in the free phone consultation?
The free consultation is a simple, low-pressure way to explore whether therapy feels like the right next step for you.
We’ll talk briefly about what’s been weighing on you and what you’re hoping might feel different in your life. You don’t need to have the “perfect” way to explain it. I’ll guide the conversation with a few questions to make it easy.
I’ll also walk you through what working together looks like, answer any questions you have, and help you get a feel for my approach so you can decide if it feels like a good fit.
There’s no commitment required.
Can I use my insurance to pay for therapy?
I am an out of network provider for most insurance plans. However, I do accept Oxford, Aetna, United Health Care, Lyra Health EAP benefits, and Loveland Foundation vouchers.
Even if I’m not in-network with your plan, many clients still choose to work with me and receive partial reimbursement for sessions after meeting their deductible. I provide a monthly superbill that you can easily submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
If you’re unsure about your benefits, I recommend calling your insurance provider and asking about your out-of-network mental health coverage, including your deductible and reimbursement rate.
If you have questions, I’m always happy to help you navigate this process so you can make the best decision for your care.
What can I expect in the first session?
Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other in a comfortable, supportive space. We’ll talk about what’s been bringing you to therapy, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you’d like to feel differently moving forward.
I’ll guide the conversation with thoughtful questions while also giving you space to share at your own pace. We’ll also review how I work, answer any questions you may have, and begin identifying goals that feel meaningful and realistic for you.
By the end of the session, you’ll have a clearer sense of what working together could look like and a plan for moving forward in a way that feels supportive and aligned with your needs.
How long will I need to be in counseling?
The length of counseling looks different for everyone and depends on your goals, what you’re navigating, and how you want to grow. Some clients come for short-term support around a specific challenge, while others choose to stay longer to work through deeper patterns and create lasting change.
We’ll work collaboratively to create a plan that feels supportive, realistic, and aligned with what you need. Throughout our work together, we’ll regularly check in on your progress to make sure therapy continues to feel helpful and meaningful for you.
